About the Artist :
Carol A. Mc Ilmurray
Carol McIlmurray was born and raised in
historic Tappan, New York, a
short 20 miles from New York City.
At the age of twenty Carol saved enough
money to move to New York
City and pursue her dream of becoming a
Stand Up Comedian. Within 8 months, she was
performing 3-5 times a night, 6 days a week,
at various Comedy Clubs and bars through out New York
City.
By the end of the first year, Carol was a paid act traveling through
Canada and the East Coast. During the next few years Carol was
in an NFL Superbowl Commercial with Boomer Esiason and
featured on NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’.
After five years in the Stand Up business Carol decided it was
time to take a break and experience life the way ‘normal people’
do. Within 2 years, a series of fortunate events brought her into
her next phase of the Performing Arts, Live Exhibition Art right
in the middle of Downtown Nyack, NY.
After a two year hiatus, Carol McIlmurray returns to her first love,
Live Performance Art.
She will perform through out New York State this fall. If you would
